My Sci-Fi London Report ( Final Part)

After seeing 'Iron Man', [info]cobrabay and I nipped off for a pizza supper still buzzin about the movie. We then headed back through Leicester Square...
Which Way
...towards Regent Street and the Apollo West End for our last movie of the day. Downstairs in the foyer, a lot more people had arrived for the evening session and the place had a warmer atmosphere...
Ticket Hall
...Our last choice in the festival was, 'Chrysalis'. Stylishly shot in low light, The year 2020 and the story is told mostly through the eyes of a hardened veteran cop and his newly assigned female partner. Who following the drowning on duty of his first colleague, vows to leave no stone unturned to get to the truth behind a missing teenager. After many grueling confrontations with a hard ass'd advisory, they both get discover that a hi-tec clinic holds all the answers which are quite startling.
Many of the characters in this french language film, were quite cliche and some of the the plot devices are straight off the shelf. However the bleak but slick look and the addition of a few flash gadgets makes this tale a very watchable 94 minutes...

After one final drink and discussion of the days movies, we bid our goodbyes at around 9pm and as I left the cinema took this parting shot out front...

The unseasonably warm weather made for a great day up in town and although I could only make one of the four days of the festival, I had a really great time...
